Path of Ghosts
Path of Ghosts is a 16mm feature-length experimental documentary/montage that alternates between portraits of three groups of people — field botanists based in Clarksville TN who are studying ecological collapse in the US; a group of young soldiers based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky who hang out in vape stores and parking lots, drag racing their cars; and the production crew of a cop show shot in Chicago and broadcast internationally — to explore the connection between enduring US-led war, ecological collapse, and ideological production, and how these three prominent aspects of contemporary life get made visible/invisible.
Boundarymind is an evening-length electroacoustic sound piece and aggregating installation that explores and transgresses the geographical, cultural, psychological, and musical boundaries that impact how we share our past, present, and future selves with others. Developed collaboratively over the course of five years by UK-based violinist and new music performer Linda Jankowska and Chicago-based composer and improviser Katherine Young, the project will showcase video art by Kera Mackenzie and a performative sculpture by Molly Roth Scranton. Boundarymind’s production partners are Experimental Sound Studio and 6018|North.
